This journey all started for me with my love for Technics SL-1200 MKII turntables. I was in search of a second MKII and found one in great disrepair. I realized this offered me an oppportunity to both learn about, and repair a turntable. I decided I wanted to take on the challenge, and over a three year period, I completely restored five Technics SL-1200 MKII and listed them for sale. 

 

As a result of the sale postings, I received an influx of messages inquiring if I did turntable repair, restoration, and servicing for the public. From the first few restorations, my love for turntables only grew and I found myself hungry to repair more, so I opened the doors of Rasmussen Turntable Repair to help others.

 

Over 300+ turntable repairs later, I am grateful for opening, as it has given me the opportunity to work on various models of turntables, and give customers their beloved turntables in a fully restored state with new life for many years to come.
